About the Job:
WAREHOUSE CLOTHING SORTER
(Part Time, Weekends Only)
Schedule: Saturday - Sunday (7:00 AM - 03:30 PM)
Pay rate: $16.30 per hour

The Rescue Mission is currently seeking Part-Time clothing sorters for our warehouse. This position is responsible for assisting in the preparation of donated merchandise for sale, including all aspects related to store deliveries, salvage, recycling, or waste management. Warehouse Sorters will engage in sorting, hanging, and ticketing sellable clothing donations. Additionally, the role includes organizing various bin items, such as ties, scarves, hats, gloves, and linens. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient processing of donated goods.
Education & Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
  • Prior experience in a production warehouse or retail clothing setting preferred

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Needed to Perform Effectively in this Position:
  • Interest in working with clothing and knowledge of clothing preferred.
  • Willingness to continue to learn new skills.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment – flexible to new assignments.
  • Passion for the mission and vision for the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts.
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs.

Additional Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Cleaning is required.
