Production Operator
Job Description

Closed Loop Recycling (CLR) is looking for a hard-working, self-motivated Production Operator to join our production team in STL! We provide a full service to manufacturers in which we provide them with reusable oil absorbent material that soaks up leaks and spills in their facilities. The role that takes place in our plant is a hands-on labor-intensive job where you will learn how to operate multiple machines, work with Customer Owned Goods (COG), industrial size water wash/waste water machines. moving/lifting heavy drums, and work on your feet. You’ll be working with a small team but have room for advancement in your career here. This is a dirty job (dealing with oil), so be prepared. Your role will consist of the following responsibilities

Production Operator Responsibilities

  • Plant Responsibilities:

    • Cleaning absorbent mats

    • Washing & sorting drums

    • Folding, sorting, cutting absorbent mats and other products

    • Stocking inventory shelves and inventory tracking

    • Loading and unloading service trucks

    • Trains and works at different workstations as production needs require

    • Keeping the facility up to OSHA safety standards and audit-ready

    • Making sure the quality of the product is 100% client-ready

  • Desired Skills and Experience:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent

    • Ability to use a pallet jack

    • Ability to lift heavy objects

    • Plant/warehouse experience

    • Mechanic/carpentry/welding experience a plus

    • Class E/Chauffeur’s license is a plus

    • Ability to operate warehouse equipment
