Reliant is the ideal choice for products with close tolerance and demanding cosmetic requirements.POSITION SUMMARY: OperatorWe are looking for an Operator experienced in manufacturing to join our dynamic team in Gainesville, Texas. This position is responsible for operating injection-molding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materials.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:Operate injection-molding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materialsPull lever to close dies and inject plastic into dies to cast partTrim excess material from part using knife, rout-a-burr, gate clipper or other hand toolVerify the quality of the parts produced meet the designated customer requirements, quality appearance standard and any functional requirementsRemove finished product from dies using handtoolsMaintain clean and orderly work areasReport to work on time and adheres to lunch and break schedulesComplete special projects and perform other duties as assigned by managementREQUIREMENTS:Read and understand blueprintsCapable of operating more than 1 molding machine and related support equipmentAbility to use basic measurement toolsAbility to perform basic math functionsAbility to differentiate colorsAbility to work in hot or cold temperature climates for extended periodsAbility to walk and/or stand for extended periodsMust regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 poundsMust use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and armsAbility and willingness to change job functions at a moment's noticeCompensation commensurate with experience along with excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision and life insurances, 401K plan and paid vacation.EOE M/F/V/H
