Positive Progression Psychology is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time capacity. Our work hours generally align with typical business hours, but there will be occasions for evening and weekend involvement for special programs and community outreach initiatives. • Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs through face-to-face consultations and telehealth sessions.
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique challenges faced by each client.
• Design and implement personalized service plans that align with clients' goals, ensuring a measurable path to empowerment and recovery.
• Serve as an advocate for clients, navigating resources and helping them access necessary support systems to aid in their healing journey.
• Collaborate with community organizations, governmental entities, and volunteer networks to enrich the services provided and enhance our community impact.
• Engage in program development, evaluation, and grant reporting, ensuring our initiatives meet the needs of the community effectively.
• Participate actively in regular team meetings and training sessions to promote ongoing professional development and improve service delivery.

Your focus will primarily include individuals and families from diverse backgrounds facing a range of challenges, including mental health issues, trauma, economic hardship, and social injustice. You will be instrumental in approaching these challenges using a trauma-informed care framework, equipping clients with tools for resilience and recovery. Our clientele may include marginalized groups who require special attention and advocacy in navigating systemic barriers.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, social justice issues, and advocacy frameworks.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, essential for effectively engaging with clients and community partners.

• At least one year of experience working within a nonprofit organization or similar setting.
• Familiarity with community resources and social service systems available in Atlanta.
• Previous experience in assessment and therapeutic settings utilizing evidence-based practices.

The salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
