Job description

Clinical Trial Rater - Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)

Location: Remote based in the US
Hours: Approximately 5h per week
Role: Clinical Specialist

We are seeking experienced and reliable Clinical Trial Raters to conduct standardized psychiatric assessments for a clinical trial in Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). The rater will be responsible for administering validated clinicianrated instruments, ensuring high-quality, consistent data collection in accordance with the study protocol, GCP, and regulatory requirements.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, experience with psychiatric populations, and the ability to maintain objectivity and interrater reliability across multiple assessments and time points.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct structured and semistructured clinical interviews with trial participants diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder
  • Administer, score, and document validated psychiatric rating scales: CGI-S, and CGI-C or CGIC-S
  • Maintain interrater reliability, including participation in calibration, training, and quality review sessions
  • Identify and escalate safety concerns (e.g. suicidality) according to protocol and sponsor guidelines
  • Work closely with study investigators, site staff, and sponsor/CRO teams to support highquality trial execution
  • Adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), SOPs, and ethical guidelines at all times
  • Maintain participant confidentiality and a traumainformed, empathetic approach during all assessments
    Required Qualifications
    • Education: PhD or PsyD (Psychology, Psychiatry, Health Sciences), Medical Doctor (MD), Foreign Medical Doctor (FMD), or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
    • Licensure: Licensed Clinician:MD/FMD/DO, Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist,Psychotherapist, Mental Health Counselor/Practitioner(LMHC/LCMHC/LMHP)or Professional Counselor(LPC/LCPC/LPCC)
    • Clinical Experience: 3 years of clinical experience withBorderline Personality Disorder(BPD) population
    • Clinical Trial Rater Experience 3 years of experience as clinical trial rater, including semi-structured psychiatric assessments
    • 3 years of experience with Clinical Global Impression rating scales
      • Clinical Global Impression-Severity (CGI-S) and
      • Clinical Global Impression-Change (CGI-C) or
      • Clinical Global Impression-Change in Severity (CGIC-S)
