Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a fully remote, VQI/Vascular Registry Data Abstractor to support a Healthcare AI client. This is a part-time opportunity working approximately 20 hours/week where candidates will apply their clinical registry expertise to review, abstract, and validate patient data while partnering closely with AI product teams. This role is highly detail-oriented and analytical, requiring a strong understanding of registry guidelines, clinical documentation, and abstraction workflows. Laptop and equipment will be provided.
Responsibilities:
• Abstract clinical cases for Vascular registries (VQI)
• Review patient charts within the EHR to identify required data elements based on current registry specifications
• Evaluate and validate AI-generated abstraction recommendations and input finalized data into the abstraction workflow
• Accurately document data sources and ensure compliance with registry standards and guidelines
• Provide clear explanations of abstraction decisions and clinical reasoning to internal product teams to enhance AI performance
• Identify inconsistencies or gaps between AI recommendations and registry best practices
• Partner with GTM and product teams to provide subject matter expertise and critique clinical presentations


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of hands-on clinical data abstraction experience working in the VQI Registry
• Experience working with VQI or vascular registries and interpreting registry data definitions/specifications
• Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical documentation workflows
• Strong attention to detail and ability to explain abstraction logic and decision-making
