Their duties often include taking patient histories, measuring vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, assisting with minor procedures, and collecting laboratory specimens. They play a vital role in ensuring efficient patient care and smooth operations within healthcare facilities. Clinical Medical Assistants must have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

What do clinical medical assistants do?

CMAs help to provide patient care and make sure that the facility runs smoothly. You are in close contact with the doctors, often assisting them with the examination process.
