Pay Rate:  $ 1700 To $ 1900/ Week

Contract: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Night Shift | Wednesday–Tuesday Rotation

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Arcata, California. This role involves performing general laboratory testing during night shifts, supporting accurate diagnostic results, and maintaining quality standards in a hospital laboratory environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical laboratory testing across multiple laboratory disciplines.

  • Conduct blood bank testing while ensuring accuracy and quality standards.

  • Analyze, verify, and report laboratory results in a timely manner.

  • Maintain laboratory documentation and utilize the CPSI/Evident EMR system.

  • Follow laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements
  • Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) License required.

  • Minimum 3 years of Clinical Laboratory Scientist experience required.

  • Blood bank experience required.

  • Current TB clearance completed within the past 12 months required.

  • Experience with CPSI/Evident EMR preferred.
