Job Description
BioTheranostics, a subsidiary of Hologic, Inc., is a leading provider of molecular-based diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive tests that empower physicians to deliver optimal care for cancer patients. This is a fully onsite position based in San Diego, CA.
Think this role is for you? This person will assist our Clinical Lab teams with various lab activities, including receiving and opening clinical packages (specimen receipt), creating patient case folders and labels, and scanning case order documents into the Lab Information System (LIS). They will also help manage completed case folders, processing for long-term storage and handle specimen returns.
Key Outcomes: Maintain quality and efficient workflow of daily duties by following standard safety and operating procedures. Like in any CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited lab, this person will have clerical and administrative functions, including documentation to maintain compliance with state, HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA and CAP requirements.

Additional qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree highly preferred.
• 1-2 years of data entry experience.
• Experience in a lab setting is highly preferred.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $42,400 to $63,600 and it is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
