Fullโ€‘Time Laboratory Equipment Technician

Location: Anaheim, CA
Compensation: $18โ€“$23 per hour
Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 5:00AM โ€“ 1:30PM

As a Fullโ€‘Time Laboratory Equipment Technician at Onterris, you will join a collaborative team dedicated to maintaining environmental testing equipment. Your handsโ€‘on technical skills and meticulous attention to detail will help ensure equipment is ready for every project and that our laboratory operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operation, maintenance and repair of environmental sampling equipment.
  • Clean, certify, and maintain equipment inventory and laboratory support.
  • Ship, receive and process equipment requests and samples based on client needs.
  • Prepare, calibrate, certify and repair air sampling equipment.
  • Maintain clean laboratory areas.
  • Keep organized records of equipment requests and fulfillment.
  • Track inventory from multiple sites.
  • Comply with Onterris Quality Assurance Program, Health and Safety Plan, and other policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Group Leader or Lab Director.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Strong mechanical skills and a willingness to work with tools daily.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs routinely and to move smaller items throughout the day.
  • Ability to stand, walk and move for approximately 80% of the shift.
  • Preferred: knowledge of general lab practices and safety.
  • Preferred: Database/LIMS experience.
  • Preferred: prior warehouse or shipping & receiving experience.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Office, laboratory, and/or warehouse setting.
  • Sitting, standing, and walking during the shift.
  • Must stand and move for 80% of the shift.

  • May require weekends, holidays, and overtime.
