Job description

A globally leading consumer device company based in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Lab Technician to support RF lab operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with RF lab equipment, soldering, and lab organization, and will be responsible for supporting test setup, rack assembly, and general lab operations.

  • Responsibilities:Build RF test setups by following provided instructions.
  • Support rack assembly based on documented procedures and instructions.
  • Perform soldering rework on existing boards with 0201 components.
  • Handle, organize, and maintain lab equipment, inventory, and workspaces.
  • Move and arrange lab equipment, including test setups, soldering stations, cables, and other lab hardware, as needed.
  • Provide general support for day-to-day lab operations.
  • Required Qualifications:Experience working with RF lab equipment.
  • Ability to build RF test setups by following instructions.
  • Experience supporting rack assembly.
  • Hands-on soldering experience, including rework of existing boards with 0201 components.
  • RF experience is required.
  • Ability to organize and maintain lab equipment and inventory.
  • Comfortable lifting and moving heavy lab equipment and materials as part of daily responsibilities.

Type: Contract

Duration: 12 months with extension

Work Location: Sunnyvale, CA (onsite)

Pay Rate: $44.00 - $59.00 ph (DOE)
