Job description

Overview

Leads, manages and supports pharmacy and hospital personnel to achieve comprehensive, contemporary, credible and reliable pharmaceutical services across the organization’s continuum of care. Oversees the effective integration of operational, fiscal, and clinical resources throughout all areas of the Pharmacy to ensure the highest level of safe, efficacious and cost effective care for patients while meeting the organization’s mission, vision and strategic initiatives. Leads the assessment, development and implementation of automation and informatics technologies to advance the organization’s delivery of pharmaceutical care.

Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of accredited Pharmacy degree program.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years clinical pharmacy experience required; two years of management/supervisory experience minimum.
  • Licenses/Certificates: Current Alabama Pharmacy license required.
