POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary function of this position is to provide systems project management, software support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training for CPH's EHR and other CPH supported clinical applications. In this role, you will participate in the selection, development, implementation, testing, and documentation of software applications to effectively support CPH's clinical information system needs. As a key member of the IS team, you will participate in improving overall IS service to CPH and its business affiliates. This position requires high self-motivation and excellent communication skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing
  • 5 years relevant experience
  • Current AK RN licensure.
  • Relevant experience may substitute; minimum 9 years combined education / experience is required
  • Four years of experience with Meditech, EPIC or other enterprise HCIS
  • Demonstrated Project Management and CPOE & related experience required

PREFERRED:
  • Basic SQL; familiarity with HL7 & EDI standards.
  • Certified Professional in Health Information management Systems (CPHIMS)
  • Certified Professional in Health Information Technology (CPHIT)
  • Certified Associate in Project Management
