Req #: 91171 Come join us! Working within a model of "Safe Patient Family Centered Care", the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is an integral part of our Health Care team!

For a limitedtimeMaineHealth is offeringsign onbonuses for Certified Nursing Assistants:

0-1years of experience eligible for $2,500 (full time)

1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)

Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full orPart timeCNA position. Bonus amount prorated forPart timehires,per diem hires are ineligible.

CurrentMaine Healthmember employees are ineligible; former MaineHealthMembersare ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary:

MaineHealth offers compassionate home health and hospice services in southern and mid coast Maine. We provide expert care for people living with a chronic health condition or recovering at home from surgery, childbirth, illness or injury.

The Home Health Assistant role, under the direction of a licensed registered nurse, provides hands-on personal care to clients in their home, providing services which are needed to maintain the client's health or to facilitate treatment of the client's illness or injury.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; Must be 18 years of age or older.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Valid Driver's license required.
  3. Experience: Prior home care experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $20.27to $24.36 per hour.
