Job description

CarePath Injury Centers of Pennsylvania is Seeking a Full-time Clinical Care Assistant for a Workers Compensation, MVA and Injury Treatment Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Who we are: Our mission is to deliver an all-in-one, best in class, therapy center for those suffering from injuries and accidents.
Who We are Looking for: We are looking for detail-oriented Clinical Care Assistants who are passionate about helping those in need and creating a welcoming environment. You will work closely with the medical professionals in the office when assisting with therapy care in addition to welcoming patients in, checking them in, and scheduling appointments. Someone who is an effective communicator, reliable, and eager to learn/adapt will do well in this role. Ideally, someone who is also bilingual/comfortable in communicating in both English and Spanish due to the large Hispanic patient population. We'd love if you have previous experience in the medical field, but are open to those who want to learn!
Job Details include:
  • As a Clinical Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to our clinical staff and assist in delivering exceptional patient care
  • This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where your skills and dedication will positively impact the lives of our patients
  • Responsible for maintaining knowledge of a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures
  • Rooming patients, Taking and recording vital signs, medication history and chief complaint
  • Daily responsibilities include answering and directing phone calls, scheduling patients in the EHR system, assisting medical professionals with therapy care for patients, preparing treatments for procedures, following sanitary protocols, cleaning up exam rooms/main office area as needed, etc.
  • Creating a kind, welcoming, supportive and helpful atmosphere to both the patients and staff members
  • Responsible for helping grow the patient base and practice through exceptional care & service
  • Learn and operate our in-office UDS lab
  • Effectively communicating with office staff members, and with supervisors
  • Other duties that arise as the office needs

Job Requirements:
  • Ability to learn office operations from front desk to patient clinical care
  • Ability to learn and operate an EHR (Electronic Health Records System)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with in-office personnel, patients, and other company members
  • Ability to take and follow direction from supervisors
  • Able to commute to Wilkes-Barre, PA on a daily basis with reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of treating patients in the injury and accident space preferred
  • Background check authorization & required documents must be completed prior to onboarding

Schedule:
Monday-Friday Full-time
Compensation:
  • $16-19/hr+ based on experience
  • PTO Package
  • Healthcare Stipend
