Job description

Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) is looking for a dedicated Clinical Engineer specializing in Patient Safety to join our esteemed team. In this critical role, you will contribute to enhancing the safety and effectiveness of medical devices used within healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and improving patient outcomes.

This position is contingent on award by the government.

This position can be remote depending on needs of the client.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments of medical technologies, developing safety protocols, and collaborating with clinical staff to resolve equipment-related issues. You will also engage in ongoing training and education for healthcare professionals on best practices related to medical device usage and safety.

U.S. Citizenship is required for this position, and a Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering and/or CCE (Certified Clinical Engineer) or a related field is required.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of patient safety regulations and medical device safety standards.
  • Experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on medical equipment and patient safety initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams across healthcare settings.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
