Position Summary
The Senior Data Analyst serves as an individual contributor responsible for healthcare performance analytics supporting the Dual Eligible Special Needs (D-SNPs), including Fully and Highly Integrated (FIDE and HIDE) populations. This role requires advanced analytical skills, healthcare domain expertise, and the ability to independently lead complex analyses with minimal oversight. Analysis are specific Medicare Stars, pay for performance, provider incentive programs, member outreach campaigns, and performance reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop member-level targeting lists using business-defined criteria, measure-level gap information, claims data, and member attributes

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of outreach, engagement, and overall quality programs

  • Conducts root-cause analysis for business data issues

  • Integrate, validate, and analyze data from multiple healthcare data sources, including claims, enrollment, provider, pharmacy, clinical, HEDIS datasets

  • Cross-functional collaboration with business owners to gather requirements, translate business needs into analytical solutions, and deliver actionable insights to support decision-making

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and health plan scorecards

  • Present measure performance analysis to Senior leadership

  • Ensure data accuracy, quality and integrity of reports to support decision making and opportunities for improvement

  • Complete ad-hoc and scheduled reporting deliverables timely

  • Assist with special projects as requested


Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in healthcare analytics, data analysis, reporting, or related field

  • Experience with HEDIS and Stars measures

  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex analytical projects

  • Experience working with healthcare claims, members, provider, and clinical data

  • Experience performing root cause analysis

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL queries


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in health informatics or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (REQUIRED)

  • Master's Degree (PREFERRED)

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
