Clinical Data Assistant/Nursing Scheduler
Full-Time
Schedule: Mon-Fri 9a-5p
Pay Rate: $22/hour
Description:
The Clinical Data Assistant/Nursing Scheduler supports the daily operational functions of the Nursing Department across multiple residential programs. This role is responsible for staffing coordination, scheduling oversight, onboarding support, timekeeping processes, and administrative operations. The position serves as a central communication hub between nurses, nursing leadership, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and external nursing agencies to ensure continuity of care, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive nursing schedules across residential homes.
  • Create and manage nursing training schedules.
  • Coordinate, manage, and participate in the rotating on-call schedule; serve as lead for on-call operations for medical model home schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition and HR to review and participate in interviewing nursing applicants as well as monitoring onboarding progress.
  • Manage relationships with multiple nursing agencies.
  • Process timesheets and invoices, ensuring accurate scheduling, credential verification, and placement.
  • Input required clinical documentation for travel nurses as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for nurses regarding scheduling, payroll, technology platforms and operational questions.
  • Provide administrative support to nursing management as needed.
  • Track and manage FMLA leaves, time-off requests, and staffing updates.
  • Collaborate with the team to remain informed of significant medical needs within the homes to ensure appropriate nursing coverage and continuity of care.
  • Additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in nursing / scheduling required.
  • Knowledge of healthcare staffing models and residential nursing operations.
  • Advanced scheduling and coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency with scheduling systems, payroll platforms, and electronic health record systems (EHana experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
