The Faculty will be responsible for teaching in the AEGD program both didactically and clinically. The Faculty reports directly to the Director of the AEGD but will work closely with the Associate Dean for Extramural Clinical Practices, the Department Chair of General Dentistry, and other administrators.
Specific duties include:

  • Working closely with the Director of the AEGD, Chair of General Dentistry, and the Assistant Dean for Extramural Clinical Practices to ensure successful operation and CODA accreditation of the residency program.
  • Participating in the after-hours call schedule as assigned.
  • Commitment to the Mission and Vision of the School of Dental Medicine, including both a community-based and a generalist model of dental education.
  • Commitment to evidence-based teaching and practice.
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Director of the AEGD program, Department Chair of General Dentistry, or the Dean of the School of Dental Medicine.
