Job Description Summary

Position Objective:

The Regional Operations Manager - Climate Control reports to the Regional Manager and gets direction from the Sr. Regional Operations Manager. This role is responsible for assisting with regional operationally related projects assigned by the RM or the Sr. Regional Operations Manager. Assignments will be wide ranging in scope and include training, performance standards improvement, safety, health, general operational improvements, emergency response, fleet management, fleet movements, and other related assignments.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Reviews regional metrics weekly and communicate opportunities for improvement to the RM and Sr. Regional Operations Manager
  • Assists in the onboarding and training of new Market Leaders, PCM's, and Service Leaders
  • Responsible for addressing identified areas of operational efficiencies and completing exercises relating to:
  • safety, health, vehicles, underperforming fleet, team member changes, and other similar tasks
  • Develops ideas and initiatives to be presented to leadership for operational efficiencies and safety in the form of PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and Excel spreadsheets
  • Leads/Participates in weekly calls with the PCM's to discuss SH&E metrics, fleet exceptions, training topics and audit compliance
  • Engages with the PCMs. RMs, Sr. RMs to address opportunities for improvements at the field level and provide in person/remote training and feedback as the business needs dictate
  • Is an ambassador for Climate Control as well as Sunbelt Rentals, leading and assisting in all aspects of the business and providing service to any tier or division of the company
  • Trains new team members for onboarding, SH&E, WYNNE processes, VDOS and audit compliance and execution
  • Engages with PCM's to maintain the standards set by the organization for facilities, trucks, uniforms, procedures, leadership practices and the Climate Control value proposition
  • Assists in the execution of disaster response protocols, including scheduling trucks, transferring, and tracking of rental assets and supplies and organizing human resources
  • Reviews and manages unavailable fleet, downed fleet and general inventory
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience plus at least 4 years of experience in the rental equipment or construction industries
  • Excellent knowledge of construction equipment
  • Understands basic knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Internet/Intranet and Wynne system
  • Must be able to travel from time to time (less than 25%)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in developing relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator with strong presentation skills
  • Strong business and technical acumen, good analytical skills
  • Good project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Base Pay Range: $81,951.00 - 112,682.90
