The Estimator supports Tom Barrow's Sales Representatives on Core HVAC product lines, which include standard equipment commonly used in commercial HVAC systems. The role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely material quotations, ensuring competitiveness and consistency across projects. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, technical aptitude, and a proactive approach to supporting both sales teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and requests for quotation to generate accurate estimates on core HVAC equipment
  • Select and price standard products such as air distribution, packaged equipment, fans, and sheet metal items using manufacturer tools and pricing data
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives to create and deliver strategic bids to contractors
  • Provide alternate product options when appropriate to meet project requirements
  • Manage multiple quotations simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
  • Communicate with internal teams, factory representatives, and customers to ensure accurate information and support throughout the bidding process
  • Deliver high-quality customer service and sales support
