Job description

CIPPlanner is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Solution Engineer to join our dynamic software implementation team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong technical background, and experience in software implementation and the latest technologies. As a Technical Solution Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for our clients’ technical staff and assisting them with system deployment and a wide range of technical issues.

Responsibilities:

Software Implementation:

  • Understand the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
  • Be responsible for seamlessly integrating client software into private network and cloud solutions.
  • Understand the CIPAce™ software.
  • Utilize C# and Microsoft.Net Farmwork.
  • Deploy software through DevOps (branch control, Azure).
  • Practice CI/CD method.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment of the CIPAce™ Software, hardware and network issues.
  • ·Escalate complex problems to higher-level technical support and development teams when necessary.

User Assistance:

  • Instruct client’s technical staff with system applications on CIPAce™.
  • Guide client’s technical staff through problem-solving processes and provide step-by-step instructions.
  • Educate client’s technical staff on best practices for software system deployment, usage and security.

System Maintenance:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, backups and patch management.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of issues, resolutions and user interactions in the ticketing system.

Requirements:

  • Remote work with some travel.
  • Preference for candidates located within Eastern Standard Time Zone.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience and knowledge in software implementation and technical support, particularly with Microsoft .NET Framework and Azure.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively to address client needs.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones and accommodate clients and global team members.
  • Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in verbal Chinese at professional level.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and detail-oriented skill.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
  • Outstanding listening skills.

  • Ability to collaborate closely with global implementation team members to ensure successful software deployment, identify the sources of technical issues, and resolve them efficiently. Competency in collaboration with cross-functional teams on various implementation projects and initiatives.
  • Be capable of providing input on process improvement and contributing to the development of support documentation.
  • Excellent experience in cooperation with the global team to address and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Basic coding experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, or similar are a plus.
