What is the opportunity?

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in X as a Client Advisor, Business Services.Applicants who have cash and custody experience is considered mandatory for this position

What will you do?

  • Serve clients by delivering exceptional customer service through completing transactions, engaging in needs-based conversations, and communicating with clients throughout the branch
  • Identify needs and provide tailored financial advice and solutions to clients, when possible, at the point of first contact
  • Contribute to team sales results by listening and spotting opportunities to offer additional advice, introduce clients to the capability of RBC partners, or personally fulfil client solutions
  • Understand & resolve client concerns, where possible, at first point of contact and be responsible for answering incoming calls and resolving business account inquiries, balancing cash daily and following established procedures if out of balance and uncovering customer's personal or business needs and referring them to the appropriate staff members (refer credit requests, investments, new accounts etc.)
  • Educate & assist clients, especially business clientele with using RBC digital capabilities
  • Manage risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests while completing transactions
  • Perform business deposits, withdrawals and bill payments. They will process night deposits, order, ship and prepare Canadian cash for customer pick-up, order and ship foreign exchange currency and process customer service representative chute bags.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • cash and custody experience
  • Proven customer service skills, preferably in the financial or service industry
  • Drive and self-motivation, as well as excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (i.e., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
  • Personal flexibility to work flex hours
  • Eagerness to learn and determination to succeed

Nice-to-have

  • Sales experience in the financial or service industry
  • Knowledge of RBC Business accounts, products and offerings
