Overview

Our Private Client Solutions team is expanding — and we’re looking for a polished, client centric professional to join us as an Account Manager. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to an elite portfolio of high-net-worth clients, delivering the exceptional, white glove experience Gallagher is recognized for.


You will manage a sophisticated Private Client book of business, navigating clients through their renewal cycle, proactively identifying their evolving needs, executing policy changes with precision, and coordinating cross border placements. Every interaction is an opportunity to strengthen relationships, build trust, and exceed expectations.


Work Environment Hybrid (Agile) – Enjoy the flexibility of remote work combined with meaningful in office collaboration. This role can be based out of our Gallagher offices in Markham or Mississauga.


How you'll make an impact
  • Serve as a trusted relationship manager for a defined portfolio of distinguished clients, playing a key role in retention and long term satisfaction.
  • Lead renewal strategy with confidence, performing detailed account analysis, recommending tailored coverage solutions, remarketing when needed, and cultivating strong relationships with underwriting partners.
  • Comfortably lead meetings in person, on camera, and through virtual platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams) with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Provide prompt, proactive service, ensuring swift resolution of inquiries and maintaining an exceptional turnaround time that reflects our high touch service standards.
  • Identify opportunities for enhanced protection, driving upselling and cross selling initiatives and collaborating with Account Executives to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Stay ahead of the market, continually refining your expertise on High Net Worth products, carrier appetites, and emerging trends.
  • Uphold Gallagher excellence, ensuring every client interaction reflects professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to world class service.

About you

  • You are meticulous and detail driven, ensuring accuracy and confidence in every policy change, document, and client communication.
  • Highly comfortable with technology, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), and able to quickly adapt to new systems, tools, and processes.
  • You possess strong knowledge of the High-Net-Worth personal insurance market and understand carrier underwriting appetites.
  • 5 years of Private Client Services account management experience, working directly with high-net-worth clientele, ideally within a brokerage setting.
  • Knowledge of EPIC is considered a strong asset.
  • You thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment where critical thinking and responsiveness matter.
  • You bring polished, articulate, and influential verbal and written communication skills.
  • A valid RIBO licence in good standing is required. Additional provincial licences are preferred and may be necessary for the successful candidate, based on the business's needs.
  • Committed to professional growth, pursuing (or eager to pursue) certifications such as CIP, CAIB, or CRM.
