Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful and seamless implementation of all customer and internal projects by leading and delivering on all project management tasks and milestones. This role will be responsible for delivering customer implementation projects by developing, modifying, and maintaining project plans while interacting and coordinating with internal departments, external stakeholders, and clients. This role will also be responsible for leading our customer hotel sourcing project services, following the existing methodology, and delivering on all project management tasks and milestones. Finally, this role will also lead internal projects as needed, based on our organizational strategic plan.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.


A day in the life of a Project Manager at Fox may include:

  • Managing and leading the client implementation process and hotel sourcing process for assigned accounts within defined timelines.
  • Acting as main point of contact for the client, providing consultancy and expertise throughout the project.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed project plans for each project.
  • Leading weekly virtual project meetings with the client, producing agendas and follow-up call notes.
  • Acting as a liaison with vendors/suppliers as necessary on behalf of the client relative client preferred relationships or programs.
  • Ensuring the project remains on track, all tasks completed within deadline.
  • Identifying issues that could delay the project; understanding and pre-empt potential risks and mitigating unexpected issues that arise.
  • Delivering on all details of the project, coordinating with various department stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Supporting multi-national and global implementations in coordination with in-country affiliations and resources; advocating on behalf of Fox clients when working with multi-national partners.
  • Conducting in-person and virtual client launch sessions to acclimate travelers, coordinators/arrangers, and administrators to new technology, processes, and online booking tool training.
  • Recommending resources and solutions based on client requirements and requests.
  • Actively participating in internal meetings to discuss project statuses, problem resolutions, client feedback, and coordination of internal resources.
  • Conducting post-project handover meeting with client and Client Solutions Manager.
  • Successfully managing multiple/simultaneous projects by ensuring project timelines are met and client/team member issues addressed.
  • Updating knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
  • Maintaining a favorable and collaborative working relationship with co-workers in all departments to foster an environment of trust and mutual respect. Driving standards and best practices whenever possible and effectively fostering a culture of engagement.
  • Enhancing the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Being innovative and recommending new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of operations and services performed.
  • Other duties, projects and alternate assignments as determined by business need.

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with two years client-facing project management experience.
  • Understanding of corporate/business travel management practices.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills; manage workflow to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain an effective follow up system to ensure timely and accurate handling of information requests.
  • Experience building positive relationships with all levels both internally and externally.
  • Ability to communicate with confidence and create a credible impression to clients, both written and verbal (one-on-one, small groups, and to large audiences).
  • Ability to deliver clear, compelling presentations to all levels within an organization and effectively manage group interaction throughout the presentation.
  • Understanding of travel technology and travel management operations. Experience with online booking tools and agency mid/back-office systems (strongly preferred).
  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
  • Aptitude to identify operating challenges/roadblocks and quickly apply tactical solutions as well as contributing to fundamental/strategic changes.
  • Ability to drive change and influence in the face of possible resistance.
  • Effective time-management skills and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and establish work priorities.
  • Advanced working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, along with strong technical skills.
  • Self-motivated; demonstrate initiative with a strong commitment to personal goals, objectives, and work ethic.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the client.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client locations throughout the United States.

The estimated base pay range for this position starts between $50,000 and $70,000 annually, less applicable withholdings and deductions, and is paid on a bi-weekly basis. The salary range provided represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect. We structure our offers within the range based on location, experience, education, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, market conditions, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
