Position Summary
The Client Solutions Consultant (CSC) plays a critical role in the sales process by serving as the subject matter expert for CBIZ Human Capital Management solutions. This role partners closely with Sales to understand prospect needs, deliver tailored solution demonstrations, and position our technology and services in a way that drives confident buying decisions.

This is a highly visible, client-facing role that requires strong business acumen, technical expertise, and exceptional presentation skills.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Partner with Sales Representatives throughout the evaluation process, including Discovery/Analysis, Solution Demonstrations, and Stakeholder Presentations
  • Participate in Analysis calls to uncover client requirements, pain points, and desired outcomes
  • Translate discovery insights into a compelling and customized demo experience
  • Lead tailored system demonstrations that align directly with prospect needs, workflows, and business objectives
  • Support the development of proposals, RFP responses, and solution positioning strategies
  • Maintain deep expertise in CBIZ services, CBIZ HCM technology, including Payroll, HR, Timekeeping, and related modules
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Implementation, Client Success, Service) to ensure alignment and successful handoff post-sale

Expanded Role Contributions

  • Sales Training & Enablement: Participate in the onboarding and training of new Sales Producers, contributing to the development of product knowledge and solution positioning skills
  • Thought Leadership & Content Creation: Contribute to internal and client-facing content, including participation in company podcasts and video initiatives
  • Webinars & Events: Host and/or participate in internal and external webinars and presentations to support brand awareness and pipeline development
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to refining demo strategies, messaging, and best practices across the Solutions Consulting team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a client-facing, consultative role (HCM, HRIS, Payroll, or SaaS preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Human Capital Management processes and systems
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and virtual presentation tools
  • SHRM/FPC/CPP designations a plus but not required
  • Experience with the UKG Ready platform is a plus but not required
