Job description

A design-build energy services construction firm is hiring a Project Coordinator for its Kansas City operations team. The Project Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to project managers, construction managers, and project engineers across ESCO, infrastructure, and engineering markets. This is a full-time, on-site role reporting to the Director of Construction.

Key Responsibilities - Project Coordinator

  • Manage project documentation controls including subcontracts, change orders, purchase orders, and submittals.
  • Process subcontractor pay applications and vendor invoices, finalize client billings, and resolve payment inquiries.
  • Develop, track, and process prevailing wage documentation including certified payroll and project exemption certificates.
  • Maintain digital drawings, standard operating procedures, and vendor compliance records for audit readiness.
  • Prepare substantial completion documents and assemble final project closeout packages for clients.

Qualifications - Project Coordinator

  • Bachelor's degree or 2 or more years of relevant work experience.
