Job description

DH Pace Company, Inc. aspires to hire a Project Coordinator in Olathe, KS to ensure project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities. Candidates will need to have a high attention to detail and enjoy a fast-paced work environment that is very deadline focused.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review project plans and specifications to determine materials needed, ordering materials, operate within customer specified budget parameters, and working with outside vendors to coordinate schedules and installs
  • Direct and coordinate activities to ensure projects are progressing on schedule and within the budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and clients and providing updates as needed
  • Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and effectively communicate the technical findings of technicians to our clients and customers
  • Monitor submittals/track job materials
  • Help maintain job files by gathering information to ensure projects are completed and billed accurately
  • Work with our strategic partners and internal service team in establishing and adhering to service level agreements
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • Construction management degree or two (2) years' experience as a Project Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager/Engineer for a construction/service company, sub-contractor, or property management firm preferred, but not required
  • Strong mathematical ability; must verify bids for accuracy
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication, customer relations, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and as a team player
  • Mechanically minded or inclined
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
