Client Solutions Director – Corporate & Experiential Events

We’re seeking a high-performing Client Solutions Director – Corporate & Experiential Events to join our sales team as a key individual contributor. In this role, you’ll drive strategic growth by identifying and securing new business, deepening relationships with key accounts, and delivering impactful event solutions aligned with client goals.

You’ll operate as a trusted advisor—bringing a consultative, insight-led approach that positions Staging Solutions as a creative and strategic partner. Your ability to independently lead complex sales cycles and connect client vision to exceptional execution will be critical to your success.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline focused on high-value corporate and experiential events. Ideal client personas include CMOs, Marketing VPs, Event Directors, and third-party agencies.
  • Research target clients and industry trends to develop custom, insight-driven proposals using Staging Solutions’ creative resources.
  • Cultivate relationships with marketing leaders, event executives, and agency partners to drive new business.
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand client goals, challenges, and opportunities—and translate them into compelling event solutions.
  • Collaborate with Executive Producers, Creative, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions from pitch to execution.
  • Evaluate inbound leads and prioritize based on strategic fit and revenue potential.
  • Deliver strategic sales presentations that align with client objectives and highlight our capabilities.
  • Serve as the voice of the client internally to help ensure project delivery exceeds expectations.
  • Attend and engage in industry-related events, including trade shows and client events, to promote the brand and drive new business.
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales on pipeline strategy, forecasting, client acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Support media and creative teams with strategic insights and facilitate cross-team communication.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to refining the sales process using SharpSpring and other tools.
What You’ll Bring

  • Proven success in event sales—especially within the experiential market, creative agencies, or full-service production environments.
  • 5–8+ years of sales experience, including managing a $2M+ annual portfolio.
  • A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Self-starter who thrives independently and collaborates seamlessly across teams (creative, production, operations).
  • A strong network of industry contacts and the ability to build trust quickly with clients.
  • Solid understanding of event planning, production, logistics, and client services—particularly for corporate meetings, incentives, general sessions, and conferences.
  • Familiarity with current trends in experiential marketing and event design.
  • Experience working with large, matrixed organizations and navigating complex sales cycles.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a polished, client-centric approach.
  • Resourcefulness and drive in prospecting, qualifying, and winning new business.
  • Experience using CRM systems (SharpSpring preferred) and marketing automation tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) required, along with a working knowledge of Google Docs and Google Drive.
