Job description

About Valitana
Valitana is a rapidly growing FinTech company delivering cutting-edge SaaS solutions to institutional investors. Founded in 2017, our platform provides advanced financial analytics, trade flow insights, and portfolio management tools that empower our clients to make faster and more informed decisions while improving operational efficiency.
Valitana was awarded the 2026 Deal Catalyst CLO Award for Best CLO & Technology Provider - Innovation and serves approximately 100 institutional clients including CLO investors, CLO managers, hedge funds, asset managers, insurance companies, family offices, and broker dealers.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Client Services Associate to join our Vantage Client Services team. In this role, you will develop expertise in CLO and ABL deal structures while learning to model transactions within Valitana's platform and support institutional clients with day-to-day platform needs. You will build the technical, analytical, and client service skills needed to grow in the structured finance space. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for an analytically minded professional eager to build deep expertise in structured finance and FinTech.
Responsibilities
  • Support the modeling of CLO and ABL deals within Vantage, Valitana's OMS & PMS with the guidance of senior members on the team.
  • Assist with indenture analysis to help translate deal documentation into platform configurations and compliance frameworks.
  • Support the configuration and ongoing maintenance of compliance testing for managed deals and Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs).
  • Deliver responsive, white-glove support to institutional clients - including CLO managers, CLO investors, hedge funds, and asset managers - escalating complex requests as needed.
  • Help build custom metrics, workflows, and Excel models tailored to client-specific needs, using the Valitana plugin for data integration and calculations.
  • Assist clients with onboarding, data uploads, and ongoing platform usage to drive adoption and value realization.
  • Contribute to internal documentation, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement of client service processes.

Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of professional experience in structured finance, fixed income, financial operations, or a related analytical role. Exposure to CLO or ABL deals is strongly preferred.
  • Foundational understanding of structured finance concepts, with eagerness to develop expertise in CLO mechanics - including waterfalls, OC/IC tests, concentration limitations, and reinvestment criteria.
  • Interest in or familiarity with reading and interpreting indentures and other deal documentation.
  • Client-facing experience in a consulting, client services, financial operations, or relationship management capacity.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain analytical concepts clearly to clients.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Resourceful, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; degrees in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field preferred.
  • AI literacy preferred - comfort using AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, or client deliverables.

What We Offer
Base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000. Valitana offers a competitive compensation package including base salary and an annual performance bonus. Employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer-matched retirement plan, healthcare with medical, dental, vision, telemedicine, and PTO.
Employees in this role will work in the office Monday through Wednesday with the flexibility to work remotely Thursday and Friday.
