Function in answering high net worth client inquiries and servicing business and consumer deposit relationships, providing exceptional service through email and telephone and/or face-to-face sales calls with the Private Bankers.
Position Summary
The Private Bank Client Services Associate serves as a trusted partner to Private Bankers and high-net-worth clients, delivering a white-glove service experience across both consumer and business banking relationships. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day client servicing needs, resolving complex account inquiries, supporting relationship growth, and ensuring every client interaction reflects the highest standards of professionalism, accuracy, and responsiveness.
Working closely with Private Bankers, Treasury Management, Operations, and other internal partners, the Client Services Associate plays a key role in deepening client relationships by providing proactive support, operational expertise, and tailored banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional service to high-net-worth individuals, families, and business clients through telephone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Serve as the primary operational support partner to Private Bankers, ensuring a seamless client experience throughout the relationship lifecycle.
  • Initiate domestic and international wire transfers, internal monetary transactions, cashier's checks, stop payments, and other client servicing requests while maintaining compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate all aspects of new account opening, documentation collection, account maintenance, ownership changes, and account closures for both consumer and business banking relationships.
  • Support business banking clients with Treasury Management products and services, including online banking, ACH, remote deposit, positive pay, user administration, and related digital banking solutions.
  • Research and resolve complex client inquiries, account discrepancies, transactional issues, and service requests with urgency while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Partner with Private Bankers to prepare client presentations, portfolio review materials, sales proposals, and meeting documentation.
  • Monitor and process daily overdrafts, exercising sound judgment while communicating proactively with relationship managers and clients when appropriate.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships by recognizing additional banking, lending, treasury, and wealth management needs and referring opportunities to the appropriate partners.
  • Ensure all client documentation, account activity, and servicing requests comply with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and bank policies.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation within applicable banking systems.
  • Provide cross-functional support for the broader Client Services team during periods of high volume, vacations, or other staffing needs to ensure continuity of service across the Private Bank.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills with the ability to navigate complex client situations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the professionalism required to interact confidently with high-net-worth clients and senior business leaders.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to build effective partnerships across Relationship Management, Operations, Treasury Management, Lending, Compliance, and Wealth Management teams.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.

Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.

Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, or a client service role supporting high-net-worth individuals and business clients.
  • Experience supporting consumer and business deposit products, account servicing, Treasury Management services, and operational banking functions.
  • Experience working in a relationship-driven, client-centric environment with a focus on delivering exceptional service to affluent or high-net-worth clients is strongly preferred.

The estimated salary range for this position is $77,000USD to $83,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
