We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our growing Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice. The TAS Senior Associate plays a key role in supporting and executing financial due diligence engagements for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other transaction-related matters. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid accounting foundation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working closely with Managers and Partners.
The Senior Associate is expected to be highly hands-on, client-facing, and increasingly responsible for reviewing junior staff work and contributing to engagement planning.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Execution & Analysis
  • Perform buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence procedures
  • Prepare Quality of Earnings (QoE), Net Working Capital, Cash Flow, and Debt-like Items analyses
  • Analyze historical financial statements and identify key trends, risks, and transaction considerations
  • Assist in drafting client-ready diligence reports and presentations
  • Support purchase agreement considerations, including working capital targets and closing mechanisms

Engagement & Client Management
  • Support Managers and Supervisors with engagement execution, timelines, and deliverables
  • Participate in client meetings and assist with presenting findings
  • Coordinate data requests and manage data rooms
  • Collaborate with investment bankers, legal teams, and internal tax professionals

Supervision & Development
  • Guide and review work performed by Associates
  • Provide coaching and on-the-job training to junior team members
  • Ensure workpapers are complete, accurate, and properly documented

Firm & Practice Support
  • Assist with proposal preparation and business development efforts
  • Participate in recruiting, training, and internal initiatives
  • Stay current on accounting standards, transaction trends, and industry developments

Qualifications
  • Must be able to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Finance from an accredited college/university required
  • CPA license required or in progress
  • 3-4 years of experience in transaction advisory, audit, or related financial advisory services
  • Experience in a CPA firm or professional services environment
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement analysis
  • Hands-on experience with QoE, working capital, and cash flow analyses
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and data analytics tools
  • Hands-on experience with buy-side and sell-side due diligence
  • Experience supporting M&A transactions a plus
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Ability to balance multiple engagements and deadlines
  • Demonstrates strong initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and concepts
  • Interest in long-term growth within Transaction Advisory Services
  • This role requires flexibility to travel when business needs arise

Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position ranges from $85,000 - $115,00. Compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, office location as well as the individual's qualifications, experience, skills, and certifications.
