Our Cincinnati, OH office has an exciting opportunity for a Client Service Manager!


The Client Service Manager serves as a trusted partner to clients and advisors, acting as a primary point of contact and the welcoming face of the office. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience through proactive relationship management, high-touch service, and expert coordination of client service and operational activities. The Client Service Manager provides advanced administrative and operational support to financial advisors, manages complex account and service requests, coordinates client communications and meetings, and helps ensure the efficient operation of the practice. Leveraging strong industry knowledge, attention to detail, and sound judgment, this individual builds lasting client relationships while driving accuracy, responsiveness, and excellence across all client-facing and administrative functions.

This role is an on-site position. In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $110,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. The role is also eligible to participate in the discretionary team bonus plan. We encourage you to apply and provide us with your compensation expectations when you do. Primary Job Functions

Reception / Office Support

  • Greet clients; ensure office is clean and welcoming.

  • Schedule meetings with product vendors/sponsors.

  • Manage and distribute mail; coordinate overnight mail deliveries.

  • Order office marketing materials and printer supplies, coordinate printer maintenance with vendor and Technology.

New Client Onboarding

  • Ensure accurate completion of prospect or new client paperwork/set up.

  • Follow up on funds transfer from surrendering company.

  • Maintain Salesforce database and client files (Filing, copies, data input).

  • Research and follow up on any issues with the Broker/Dealer, WEG Operations, and vendors.

  • Record incoming assets to the appropriate blotting tool.

Client Relationship Management

  • Dialogues with client to understand their personal history & current financial needs.

  • Prepares account transactions, trades, deposits, withdrawals, RMDs, etc.

  • Communicates to understand client requests, determines what needs to be done; communicates to the advisor or handles issue resolution, includes death claim processing.

  • May work with client's tax or legal counsel on client concerns.

Client Review Prep and Follow Up

  • Gather client data and may prepare the materials for client meetings and reviews.

  • Conducts Tax Research (1099s).

  • Completes any review follow up needs for client.

Industry / Product / Company Knowledge

  • Demonstrates knowledge and can accurately execute against WEG's Suitability Guidelines, operational processes and sales model.

  • Understands financial terminology and products.

  • Working proficiency with annuities, mutual funds, separately managed accounts, fixed income, stocks, options, alternative investments, hedge funds, charitable giving practices.

  • Attends Client Services and company educational events.

  • May attend vendor presentations.

Team and Corporate Support

  • Assists Advisor Team Operations to streamline processes.

  • Completes operational projects to support enhancements and changes.

  • Communicates process and sales updates to team.

  • Participates in WEG offered sessions (Micro Monday, ATO Answers, Client Service Community, RoundTable LIVE, etc.).

  • Manages vendors to Service Level Agreements.

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • 3-5 years of industry experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work with deadlines, be flexible under pressure and prioritize work.

  • Ability to train new employees as needed.

  • Flawless recording of buys/sells and other key data within Salesforce.

  • Builds/maintains effective relationships with internal and external clients.

  • Developing client relationship/trust as observed by lead FA.

  • Strong knowledge of WEG's sales model.

  • Demonstrated industry, product, and company knowledge.

  • Demonstrates a spirit of collaboration and commitment across WEG initiatives.

  • Lives and promotes WEG values, core competencies, and brand.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.

  • Experience with Workday preferred.

  • AI Literacy: Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI tools and technologies in daily work tasks. Requirements include understanding how to craft effective prompts, evaluate AI-generated content for accuracy and appropriateness, and integrate AI tools to enhance productivity while maintaining quality standards. Comfort with learning new AI applications and understanding their appropriate use cases and limitations. As AI technology evolves, continued learning and adaptation to new AI tools and methodologies will be expected.

WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state, pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified as this level is $57,750.00 to $126,000.00. However, the base salary range bolded above ($100,000.00 to $110,000.00) is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
