We're looking for an experienced Junior Director (US Tax) to join a collaborative public accounting environment serving privately held businesses and individuals. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned CPA who enjoys leading client engagements, developing teams, and providing trusted accounting and tax advice.

What You'll Do
  • Lead accounting, compilation, tax, advisory engagements for private companies and individuals.
  • Review files and ensure the delivery of high-quality client service.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
  • Identify tax planning and business advisory opportunities.
  • Mentor and develop team members while managing multiple client engagements.
  • Contribute to practice growth through networking and business development.
What We're Looking For
  • Canadian CPA designation is required.
  • 10+ years of public accounting experience, with a strong focus on Canadian corporate tax and compilation engagements.
  • US personal tax experience is required
  • Extensive experience advising owner-managed and private businesses.
  • Experience with iFirm and CaseWare is required.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage client relationships and mentor teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Candidates living in or within a reasonable commute to Markham are strongly preferred.
  • US CPA designation with experience is a strong asset
