We believe that every dollar saved represents a lifetime of hard work and aspirations, and every dollar invested has job to do for our clients. That’s why we are committed to managing our clients’ investments by truly understanding them as people first and then delivering advice, strategies and solutions to help them feel confident about the plans they are making, whether for today, tomorrow, or in the great unknown future. Our goal is to build long-term relationships based on respect, integrity, and a belief that our responsibility is to help people make smart investments decisions in every stage of their lives.

Our culture is grounded in our CORE values: Client First, One Team, Respectful Candor, and Endless Curiosity. These values guide everything we do, for our clients and each other. We are committed to moving forward together. If you are inspired by purpose-driven work and a collaborative, values-led culture, we invite you to explore a career with us.

As a member of the Client Services team, you’ll play a pivotal role by partnering with the Financial Planner providing a high level of customer service to our clients.

We are looking for someone with financial services experience to help us deliver outstanding service by building and encouraging the client relationship, as well as performing all related administrative functions. If you have outstanding client service and communication skills, with a good understanding of finance, this is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate client meetings, including greeting clients, appointment preparation, and supporting the completion of required paperwork.
  • Supervise client account activity, researching and resolving issues.
  • Prepare and review all new account paperwork to ensure documents are complete and in good order.
  • Verify accounts are traded into the accurate model and aid operation teams as needed; supervise incoming rollovers, other investment funding, and transfers to ensure that all applicable accounts moved.
  • Document key client achievements and other relevant data into systems that will assist in future client interactions.
  • Maintain risk awareness and compliance; identify problems in a timely manner while aligning with standard resolution policy, the established corporate process, and regulatory procedures.
  • Support the firm’s initiatives, assist with any company-wide projects and activities, and attend functions as needed.
  • Participation in projects, task forces, councils, and product rollouts to ensure CSA voice is represented.

Requirements:

  • Two years of relevant experience (Registered Investment Advisor or Broker/Dealer) is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of finance and investment markets/securities
  • Critical thinking, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills required.
  • Able to adapt to changes in the work environment, handle challenging demands and work with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.

Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $50,000 - $65,000. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions.  In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible for an annual target cash bonus. This role also offers the ability to earn additional cash bonuses for your contributions throughout the year. These bonuses reward you for helping introduce new clients to the firm, supporting strong client relationships, and contributing to your team’s growth and performance.  Collectively, all of the bonuses are a meaningful portion of the total cash opportunity for this role. Bonus amounts are determined by your individual contributions, your team’s results, and, in some cases, the revenue your team generates. Details about how these additional bonus opportunities work will be shared during the interview process and after hire.
