Schwab Wealth Advisory is a fee based, non‑discretionary investment advisory solution built on trust, personalized service, and Schwab’s disciplined approach to investing. As an Associate Wealth Advisor, you’ll support 2–4 Wealth Advisors by servicing, deepening, and retaining virtual client relationships while helping deliver customized financial planning support and address foundational portfolio needs. 

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, relationship‑driven environment and takes ownership of both client outcomes and personal growth. Your work directly supports client confidence, advisor effectiveness, and long‑term relationship success. 

Through our Wealth Management Institute, mentorship, and ongoing coaching, you’ll build skills in client relationship management, asset allocation, risk awareness, and consultative communication. This position offers real client experience and a direct pathway to becoming a Wealth Advisor. 

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified locations.

What you have

Required Qualifications  

  • Prioritization Management: Ability to evaluate urgency, risk, and impact while clearly communicating status, expectations, and next steps to clients and Wealth Advisors to ensure timely, accurate service delivery. 
  • Proactivity: Demonstrates initiative by anticipating needs, identifying next steps early, and taking ownership to move work forward. 
  • Coachability: Actively seeks, receives, and applies feedback, asking thoughtful questions and adjusting communication and behaviors to continuously improve client service and advisory support. 
  • Adaptability: Adjusts effectively to changing priorities, evolving client needs, and new information in a virtual advisory environment. 

Additional requirements: 

  • Active and valid FINRA Series 7 
  • Active and valid FINRA Series 66 (ability to obtain within a 120-day condition of employment) 
  • Understands core investment products and markets 
  • Applies regulatory and client‑facing fundamentals 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience servicing client relationships in financial services 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience 

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
