Objectif:

Assister la direction du departement dans le developpement de la strategie du departement et la constitution de l'equipe; assurer un niveau eleve de service aux clients et developper des strategies en accord avec les objectifs du departement; gerer les relations cles avec les clients; servir d'expert dans l'alignement, la gestion et l'amelioration des relations avec les clients tout en gardant une vue d'ensemble du portefeuille de clients d'un point de vue operationnel et financier. Communiquer avec les equipes de projet et le developpement commercial afin de garantir une excellente prestation aux clients et la coherence entre les etudes, y compris la gestion des relations et des portefeuilles, la mise en uvre des meilleures pratiques, l'harmonisation et le developpement de projets d'amelioration des performances specifiques aux clients, et faciliter la gestion de la transmission a l'echelon superieur.

RESPONSABILITES:

  • Assurer une qualite constante et exceptionnelle des produits livres par le departement.
  • Gerer les relations avec les clients et diriger les equipes afin d'atteindre avec succes les objectifs fixes par le client.
  • Gerer les procedures operationnelles standard du departement et veiller au respect des lignes directrices BPC de la CIH.
  • Superviser la maintenance, l'examen et la mise en uvre des procedures de controle de la qualite.
  • Diriger les projets et les initiatives du departement et de l'entreprise.
  • Proceder a la planification des capacites.
  • Assister l'equipe de developpement commercial dans l'examen des demandes de propositions (RFP) et des demandes d'informations (RFI) pour les comptes attribues, en travaillant en etroite collaboration avec les equipes internes et le client.
  • Superviser les previsions, le carnet de commandes et les projections pour les comptes existants; completer les previsions pour les comptes existants.
  • En tant que responsable experimente, les taches peuvent inclure l'encadrement de nouveaux employes ainsi que des initiatives d'amelioration des processus au niveau du departement et/ou de l'organisation. Il s'agit d'un poste a contribution individuelle.

Purpose:

To assist the department Director in developing department strategy and team building; to ensure a high standard of service to clients and develop strategies in alignment with departmental objectives; to manage key client relationships; to manage; to serve as an expert in aligning, managing and enhancing client relationship(s) while maintaining an overview of client portfolio from an operational and financial perspective. To communicate with project teams and Business Development to ensure excellent delivery to clients and consistency across studies, including alliance and portfolio management, implementation of best practices, harmonization, and development of client-specific performance improvement projects, and to facilitate escalation management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure consistent and outstanding quality against department deliverables.
  • Manage customer relationships and lead the teams towards successfully achieving customer deliverables.
  • Manage the standard operating procedures of the department and ensure compliance with ICH GCP guidelines.
  • Oversee the maintenance, review and implementation of Quality Control procedures.
  • Lead departmental and company Projects and Initiatives.
  • Conduct capacity planning.
  • Assist the Business Development team with RFP (request for proposal)/RFI (request for information) review for assigned accounts, working closely with the internal teams and the client.
  • Oversee forecast, backlog and projections for existing account; complete forecasting for existing accounts.
  • As an experienced leader, tasks might include new hire mentorship as well as departmental and/or organizational process improvement initiatives. This is an individual contributor role.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of FDA (Food and Drug Administration) guidelines and their impact on the operations
  • Good team leadership skills
