Job Description:

Are you admired for your attention to detail, exacting standards and willingness to help others deliver an outstanding customer experience to our high value clients? If so, then apply for the position of PIA Client Relationship Associate today. In this role, you will provide business and relationship management to Investment Advisors (IAs) to enable them to deliver exceptional customer service to our clients.

In addition, you will:

  • Provide functional specialized business services, advisory and process/program support

  • Assist IA in building integrated and customized solutions based on clients' unusual needs

  • Build relationships with existing clients

  • Provide consistent and accurate administrative support to IA(s)

  • Prepare all documentation and provide updates to IA(s) in preparation for client meetings

  • Client service which includes sound operational execution based on knowledge of full service brokerage

  • Sales support by identifying sales opportunities/reciprocal referrals and assist IA(s) in preparation for client meetings

  • Provide market quotes and track Dividends, RSPs, RIFs

  • Create reports for analysis of client accounts

  • Understand TDW PIA Product offerings and unique investment instructions

  • Direct support staff in the professional and personable delivery of client service

  • Solve moderately complex problems, exercise judgment and work within broad guidelines to independently perform tasks from end to end, acting as a point of escalation as required.

  • Monitor service quality and productivity; implement continuous improvement

  • Keep current on emerging trends and keep others informed and up to date on work status, progress

  • Participate fully as a team member, support a positive professional team environment

Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or community college diploma preferred

  • Successful candidates will be required to be licensed as a Registered Representative (RR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO)

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, ideally in banking, administrative roles, or related fields

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively, confidentially, and independently

  • Knowledge of wealth management and/or operations is an asset

  • Knowledge of investment products is an asset
