Job description

THE ROLE

The Wealth Associate partners closely with Wealth Advisors to help deliver comprehensive wealth management services while building the technical expertise, confidence, and relationship management skills necessary to become a future Wealth Advisor. Working alongside Wealth Advisors and Client Service Managers, the Wealth Associate transforms planning strategies into thoughtful client recommendations, actively participates in client relationships, and plays an integral role in delivering the thoughtful advice and personalized experience that define Seven Springs Wealth Group.

Success in this role extends beyond technical proficiency. The most successful Wealth Associates are curious learners, trusted partners, and confident communicators who embrace every opportunity to grow through meaningful client experiences.

ABOUT SEVEN SPRINGS WEALTH GROUP

At Seven Springs Wealth Group, we believe exceptional wealth management begins with trusted relationships. Our clients look to us not only for financial expertise, but for thoughtful guidance through life's most important decisions. Every client relationship is supported by a collaborative Diamond Team of professionals who bring unique expertise while working together to deliver a seamless, personalized experience. For over twenty years, our mission has been to build deep and meaningful relationships with people and their wealth - so they can venture forward confidently.

PRIMARY AREAS OF OWNERSHIP Deliver Comprehensive Wealth Planning

Exceptional client meetings begin long before anyone sits down at the conference table. The Wealth Associate is responsible for transforming planning strategies into polished, client-ready recommendations that help clients make informed financial decisions.

Working closely with the Wealth Advisor and Investment Team, the Wealth Associate prepares financial plans, develops planning analyses, coordinates meeting preparation, and ensures recommendations are accurate, organized, and aligned with the firm's planning philosophy. As technical expertise and experience grow, the Wealth Associate becomes an increasingly valuable contributor to the planning process and client relationship.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing comprehensive financial plans and supporting analyses for advisor review
  • Developing meeting agendas, presentation materials, and client deliverables
  • Performing financial planning analyses and scenario modeling as experience and proficiency grow
  • Identifying planning opportunities for advisor consideration
  • Coordinating meeting preparation to ensure every engagement is organized, accurate, and client-ready
  • Understanding and confidently communicating the firm's investment philosophy and approved planning recommendations
  • Continuously strengthening technical knowledge across retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning, investment management, insurance planning, education planning, cash flow planning, and other areas of comprehensive financial planning
Build Trusted Client Relationships

The Wealth Associate is an active participant in the client relationship – not simply a planner working behind the scenes. Through meaningful client interactions, the Wealth Associate builds trust, develops confidence, and gains the experience necessary to become a future relationship manager.

Attendance at client meetings will vary based on client needs, scheduling, and developmental opportunities. When participating, the Wealth Associate is expected to contribute thoughtfully by presenting recommendations, answering planning questions, reinforcing advisor recommendations, and strengthening trusted client relationships while continuing to develop professionally.

Responsibilities include:

  • Participating in client meetings alongside Wealth Advisors
  • Presenting portions of client meetings and planning recommendations
  • Answering client planning questions with confidence and professionalism
  • Reinforcing planning recommendations and the firm's investment philosophy
  • Building trusted relationships through proactive communication and timely follow-through
  • Progressively assuming greater client-facing responsibilities as experience and proficiency increase
Develop as a Future Wealth Advisor

Seven Springs Wealth Group believes great advisors are developed through experience, not only observation. The Wealth Associate role is intentionally designed to provide meaningful opportunities to build technical expertise, professional judgment, and relationship management skills through real client experiences.

Every planning discussion, client meeting, and coaching conversation represents another opportunity to prepare to confidently lead client relationships and serve as a trusted Wealth Advisor in the future. As knowledge, confidence, and experience grow, Wealth Associates are expected to assume increasing responsibility while continuing to strengthen their technical expertise and professional judgment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Seeking feedback and applying it to continually improve performance
  • Embracing meaningful client-facing opportunities that build confidence and professional judgment
  • Expanding technical expertise through continuing education and professional development
  • Demonstrating initiative, curiosity, and a commitment to lifelong learning
  • Preparing to independently lead client relationships as experience and proficiency develop
Strengthen the Diamond Team

The Wealth Associate serves as the bridge between planning strategy and implementation, partnering closely with Wealth Advisors and Client Service Managers to ensure recommendations are prepared thoughtfully and executed seamlessly. Success requires mutual trust, clear communication, and confidence in one another's expertise. Exceptional client service is the result of exceptional teamwork.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering closely with Wealth Advisors, Wealth Associates, and Client Service Managers to deliver a seamless client experience
  • Collaborating with Client Service Managers on post-meeting follow-up to ensure client needs, action items, and planning recommendations are addressed accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinating planning recommendations and follow-through across the Diamond Team
  • Clearly communicating planning updates, priorities, and client needs
  • Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities while supporting the success of the broader team
  • Contributing ideas that improve processes and enhance the client experience
Lead with Excellence

Clients place tremendous trust in Seven Springs Wealth Group. Every Wealth Associate is expected to uphold that trust by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Professional growth extends beyond technical knowledge. Wealth Associates contribute to the firm's culture by embracing collaboration, pursuing continuous learning, and consistently striving to improve the client experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Pursuing professional certifications and continuing education
  • Maintaining current knowledge of financial planning strategies, investment philosophy, and industry developments
  • Demonstrating professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and fiduciary responsibility
  • Seeking opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the continued success of the firm
  • Representing Seven Springs Wealth Group with professionalism in every client and team interaction
WHAT YOU BRING

Successful Wealth Associates combine strong technical aptitude with emotional intelligence and a genuine desire to help others. They enjoy solving complex planning challenges, building meaningful client relationships, and continuously developing their expertise while preparing for a future as a Wealth Advisor.

Ideal candidates will possess:
  • CFP®, CFA, or CPA designation held, in progress, or a credible intention to pursue
  • Experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a related professional environment
  • Strong technical knowledge across financial planning disciplines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from others
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment
  • A passion for continuous learning and delivering exceptional client service
What Success Looks Like

Success in this role is measured by your preparation, your professional growth, and the confidence you build with both clients and teammates.

You know you are succeeding when:

  • Wealth Advisors consistently rely on your planning, preparation, technical expertise, and professional judgment
  • Clients increasingly view you as a knowledgeable and dependable resource
  • Client meetings are consistently well prepared, organized, and thoughtfully executed
  • Your technical knowledge and communication skills continue to grow through meaningful client experiences
  • Client Service Managers have the information they need to implement recommendations accurately and efficiently
  • You continually expand your expertise and develop the confidence necessary to become a trusted Wealth Advisor
COMPENSATION
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
  • Annual variable compensation
  • Quarterly business development compensation for origination
  • Firm-sponsored health insurance via cafeteria plan
  • Highly competitive 401(k) with profit sharing plan
Our Commitment to Inclusion:
