Job Description:

In this role, you will provide business and relationship management as well as planning support to Investment Advisors (IAs)to enablethemto deliverexceptional customer service to our clients.

In addition, you will:

  • Provide functional specialized business services, advisory and process/program support

  • Assist IA in building integrated and customized solutions based on clients' unusual needs

  • Build relationships with existing clients, IA Bank branches and other Bank referral sources

  • Demonstrate financial planningexpertiseto support IA and producehigh qualityplans that exceed client expectations and improve client retention and loyalty

  • Participate in client meetings and the wealth planning process; organize client seminars/events

  • Match clients to their products and services in a professional,consistentand expedient manner

  • Maintain a culture of risk management; adhere to internal policies and procedures and protect the interests of the Bank by monitoring and raising transaction activity asrequired

  • Monitor service quality and productivity; implement continuous improvement

  • Keep current on emerging trends and keep others informed and up to date on work status, progress

  • Participate fully as a team member, support a positive professional team environment

Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or community college diploma preferred

  • Successful candidates willbe requiredto be licensed asaRegistered Representative (RR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO)

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, ideally in banking, administrative roles, or related fields

  • Strong communicationskills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively, confidentially, and independently

  • Knowledge of wealth management and/or operations is an asset

  • Knowledge of investment products is an asset

  • Desirable: Personal Financial Planner (PFP) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
