SUMMARY OF POSITION
Kinsley is looking for an experienced Client Relations Manager to support client relations and business development efforts for our York, PA office. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships, identifying new opportunities within targeted geographic areas, and partnering with our project teams to help promote Kinsley Construction. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of relevant industry experience, strong communication and computer skills, and a genuine interest in continuing to learn and grow.
Please note that this position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with Kinsley Construction policies and procedures.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Build and carry out a business development and client relations strategy with short-, mid-, and long-term goals aligned with Kinsley's strengths and growth plans.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with business owners, developers, architects, engineers, consultants, and community partners to expand Kinsley's presence.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new construction opportunities, with a strong focus on self-performed work.
  • Track and manage project leads, opportunities, and client activity within our CRM system.
  • Represent Kinsley at industry events, networking opportunities, and conferences to grow connections and visibility.
  • Stay actively involved in professional associations and community organizations to build meaningful relationships and expand outreach.
  • Promote Kinsley's across the region, focusing on projects aligned with our target markets.
  • Partner with our marketing team to create materials that highlight what sets Kinsley apart.
  • Work closely with project teams to support proposals, presentations, and client-facing materials.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience in construction or a related industry preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of the commercial construction market in the MD/WV/VA region.
  • General understanding of commercial construction practices and project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated success in developing business relationships and identifying opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Self-directed with the ability to manage priorities independently.
  • Adaptable and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
