Job description

Position Summary
As a Public Relations Manager, you are a core team member who is building your craft by working across a number of different client categories, including agriculture, consumer packaged goods, healthcare, technology and transportation. You execute assigned work with care, communicate proactively and bring a can do attitude to every task. You’re hungry to learn, thrive on generating results for clients and are developing the skills, relationships and judgment that will grow your career in PR. You work with guidance from your PR lead and are eager to learn, take feedback and grow into greater independence.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Manage daily assigned workload, completing projects on deadline and on budget; pulls program metrics for client reports, as assigned.
  • Support successful execution of all assigned work such as media list building and pitching media; contributes to brainstorming and is eager to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Research information and resources to include in client work and new business responses as assigned.
  • Use AI tools (with guidance) for drafting, research, and refinement; applies AI to improve clarity and structure of written materials.
  • Write first drafts of PR materials; works with PR lead to refine them and produces quality work with minimal errors.
  • Contribute to agency culture by serving on employee committees and maintaining a genuine commitment to team success.
  • Perform other duties, such as reporting, as assigned.
Education + Experience
  • 1+ years of agency or related experience in communications or public relations.
  • Familiarity and experience working on B2B and/or B2C clients.

Compensation Details
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000. Our employees are eligible for a full package of traditional benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. We are a hybrid work company (3 days/week in-office, 2 days/week remote is a typical week at broadhead) with Paid Time Off, paid holidays, and 401(k) matching. In addition, we provide paid parental leave, performance-based bonuses, employee stipends, and gym access. Employees can receive employer contributions to HSAs, FSAs, and Student Loan Debt Repayment benefits.
