Job Description

This is a full-time salaried position with potential performance bonus. Candidate should expect 40+ hour per week commitment.

ElderCare Dental is dedicated to changing the world of preventative oral care and health of older adults. As Director of Strategic Client Relations on the Key Account Management team you will lead the expansion of our client base and use your strategic marketing skills to educate prospective customers on the benefits and value of ElderCare Dental. You will serve as a trusted adviser, share insights and continually seek opportunities for growth to make your clients as strong and successful as possible.

As ElderCare Dental builds our Minnesota client relationships we seek a point person to introduce our company and services to aging services providers, associations, and influencer organizations. This person will engage in contractual relationships with providers in order to promote and market our services to providers, residents and families. This person will also manage and maintain existing client relationships to maximize potential for service and revenue to ElderCare Dental.

This role requires an in depth knowledge of the field of aging services in Minnesota, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence action.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Learn about ElderCare Dental's platform, services and associated value
  • Effectively communicate the ElderCare Dental value proposition to inspire your clients to embrace our services
  • Make discovery calls and confirm meetings with key decision makers that will generate new relationships, contracts and potential revenue
  • Create a pipeline of reasonable opportunities and reliable forecasts in a transparent manner
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for the state of Minnesota that will evolve and improve our sales process
  • Listen to the needs of the market, educate and update Eldercare Dental executive team
  • Deliver, and preferably exceed, against quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Interact with ElderCare Dental post contract, clinical and education teams assigned to each client account.
  • Knowledge and experience of Customer Relationship Management preferably in the field of aging services
  • Project management skills with an ability to interact with and motivate others to succeed on several fronts simultaneously
  • Effective verbal and written communication on all levels and both internally and externally
  • Self-motivated, analytical, quick learner, organized, detail-oriented, multi-tasker
  • Prioritizes workload and meets deadlines for a variety of client relations and deliverables
  • Demonstrates initiative with a results orientation, while exhibiting strong drive and leadership skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows platform and the entire Office pro Suite; to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Ability to manage the additional aspects of working independently without constant direct supervision.

Basic Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of aging services experience in role(s) such as:
    • Aging Services / LTC field / community marketing
    • Executive Administration (new markets focused)
    • Nursing / clinical (where high level of influence is required)
  • 5+ years of client focused relationship building where action is required and outcomes are managed preferred
  • 5+ years of presentation development and delivery to decision makers in the field of aging services preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or higher degree in area relating to the field of aging services (or similar discipline)
  • Experience in relationship management speaking to C-level clients
  • Experience with business development across field of aging services
  • Proven history of overachieving identified business goals and objectives
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical and forecasting skills
  • Possess trusted relationships with present aging services teams
  • Demonstrated ability to find, manage and close business relationships
  • Ability to use competitive communication skills to position company products against direct and indirect competitors
  • Ability to gather and use data to inform decision making and persuade others
  • Ability to assess business opportunities, read prospective buyers and develop compelling strategies
