Our goal is to help CEOs, CFOs, and IR teams of publicly listed companies navigate the cycles of the public financial markets. We are looking for strategic thinkers IN CHICAGO that are dedicated to delivering exceptional client service.

We have Associate/AVP positions open if you have 5-10+ years of investor relations, portfolio management, sell-side banking/research, financial services, and/or related consulting experience. An advanced degree, particularly an MBA, is favored for the AVP/Associate position, and we also favor candidates who have completed the CFA program.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Act as primary day-to-day Alpha contact for all assigned clients.
  • Drive all strategic positioning strategies, materials and messaging for a basket of 6-8 publicly traded clients, ensuring quality, presentation and message resonance to Wall Street.
  • Develop the strategic plan for clients’ overall investor relations programs under the direction of senior team members.
  • Communicate with clients and internally manage a three-person team to service our client’s needs.
  • Create earnings and investor presentations for clients.
  • Lead introductory calls with prospective investors before engaging Management.
  • Liaise with portfolio managers and provide feedback to our clients on Wall Street perceptions.
  • Compose white paper research and editing on various market topics for client education and business development.
  • Participate and contribute to sales pitches and broader marketing efforts.
  • Be consistently proactive on accounts with new ideas.
  • Be a career manager, and ensure that your team is tracking client’s appropriately, hitting deadlines, consistently learning and growing, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • MBA or equivalent preferred for more experienced roles
  • Solid foundation of corporate finance, accounting and Wall Street
  • Outstanding critical thinking, oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Desire to provide top-notch client service
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience using Capital IQ, Ipreo, Bloomberg, and/or FactSet is considered a plus
