What Youll Do

Technical

  • Leading and managing environmental projects and client relationships in the Saco, Maine, area.
  • Overseeing, coordinating, and reviewing work of engineers, scientists, technicians, and designers.
  • Identify and schedule resources from within our technical staff and subconsultants to execute the tasks of work necessary to complete the projects.
  • Managing environmental permitting and environmental compliance projects including Phase I ESAs, Phase II ESAs, NEPAs, natural resource, stormwater, wastewater, groundwater, and solid waste projects.
  • Developing scopes, schedules, and budgets based on project needs and monitoring financial performance of projects.
  • Reviewing and executing project contracts.

Business Development Responsibilities

  • Identifies and develops new business opportunities in Environmental Division.
  • Cultivate professional relationships in commercial, institutional, industrial and municipal environments to enhance and expand client relationships.
  • Grows client base through effective implementation of business development plans to increase the clients and projects in New England.
  • Maintains effective sales effort to achieve business development goals.
  • Seeks and identifies new work associated with existing projects and clients. Promote and cross-sell services from other areas of the company.
  • Builds partnerships with other strategic consultants and subcontractors to expand upon teaming opportunities.
  • Promotes positive client relations to obtain repeat business from existing clients, including client visits and phone calls to strengthen client relationships.

What Youll Bring

  • BS in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related programs.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related industry & project management experience is desired.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices relating to appropriate discipline.
  • Progressive ability, capacity, and aptitude in administration to plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate projects and to effectively update and communicate with client on technical matters.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Valid driver's license & reliable transportation required.
