As a Lead Technical Program Manager in Commerical & Investment Bank, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to the development of operational plans and risk management strategies, ensuring the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end ISO 20022 program management, including planning, execution, and delivery across payment channels, clearing systems, and client integrations
  • Drive global ISO transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with industry timelines (e.g., SWIFT November 2026 migration milestones)
  • Coordinate across multiple applications to ensure consistent adoption of ISO standards (e.g., Hybrid Address, structured data)
  • Partner with business, operations, and compliance teams to ensure regulatory readiness, auditability, and data integrity
  • Define and execute program governance, including steering committees, status reporting, RAID tracking, and executive updates
  • Manage cross-channel and cross-region dependencies, ensuring seamless interoperability across domestic and international payment flows
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, including regulatory, data quality, and integration risks, with clear remediation strategies
  • Manage migration readiness, and cutover planning for large-scale ISO releases across channels and platforms
  • Influence senior stakeholders and executive leadership to align on priorities, trade-offs, and delivery commitments
  • Promotes reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for program governance and reporting, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards
  • Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate program planning and risk synthesis (e.g., consolidating inputs into integrated plans, RAID, and executive-ready updates), validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirements

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support program management workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end ISO 20022 or payments modernization programs (SWIFT, CBPR+, HVPS+, Fedwire, CHIPS, etc.) 
  • Strong understanding of payments architecture, including channels, clearing systems, and ISO message flows 
  • Experience leading cross-functional, global programs involving technology, operations, and business stakeholders 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex dependencies across multiple platforms and teams 
  • Strong expertise in program governance, risk management, and executive communication 
  • Proven ability to deliver under regulatory timelines and high-pressure environments
