Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will identify sales opportunities using leads, networking, and existing customers. This position is responsible for identifying national accounts and/or territories to sell ITG equipment/processes.


EDUCATION:

Required: Non-degreed candidates must have equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Preferred: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer Engineering or related field.


EXPERIENCE:

Required: Minimum of five yearsโ€™ experience for non-degreed candidates.

Preferred: Bachelorโ€™s degree with two years of experience.


POSITION REQUIREMENT(S): Specialized Skills/License/Certification

Required: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem solving, critical thinking, and committed team player, business relationship management, and technical understanding. Overall understanding of industrial processes and being able visualize opportunities when exposed to client operations.

CORE COMPETENCIES (Essential Job Functions)

1. Evaluate current practices and introduce new equipment/processes for sale.

2. Work directly with the ITG engineering and manufacturing teams to gain any needed process understanding and to develop a process budget and proposal for presentation to the proposed client.

3. Follow up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and additional leads.

4. Promote maximum customer acceptance, instruct customer personnel in the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.

5. Effectively manage business relationships with design engineers, colleagues, customers, contractors, vendors and other members of The Vincit Group to ensure the delivery of quality services to customer.

6. Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve developmental problems.

7. Completes special projects upon requests, and other duties may be assigned.


PAY AND BENEFITS:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and sales commission. The overall benefits package includes medical, vision, and dental insurance, as well as 401k with company contributions. A monthly auto allowance and expenses for overnight travel and customer activities are provided.
