Job description

Commercial Property Coordinator — Client Operations

Full-time | $27–$30 per hour | Monday–Friday | Fully onsite

Amped Kitchens builds, owns, and operates large-scale commercial kitchen properties in Los Angeles and Chicago. Our properties are home to some of L.A.’s most exciting food companies—from emerging CPG brands to established restaurant groups, caterers, and meal-delivery businesses.

We’re looking for a sharp, organized coordinator to help run the administrative side of Amped Kitchens—L.A. North. You’ll be a central point of contact for clients and vendors, working across our Leasing, Facilities, and Accounting teams to get questions answered, information routed, and open items resolved.

This is a broad, hands-on property-administration role. Some days will focus on client questions and leasing paperwork; others may involve vendor coordination, account follow-up, records, scheduling, supplies, or an unexpected operational issue. The right person enjoys that variety, loves helping people, and takes pride in keeping the property organized and responsive.

The Role

You will help create an exceptional, well-organized experience for Amped clients and vendors.

Success means:

  • Clients and vendors receive prompt, helpful answers.
  • Lease and account documentation is accurate.
  • Onboarding, move-ins, transfers, and move-outs happen smoothly.
  • Open administrative items are tracked through completion.
  • Small problems are caught before they become larger ones.

Core Responsibilities

Client and Vendor Support

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, visitors, and vendors.
  • Respond promptly and helpfully to calls, emails, and account questions.
  • Gather the information needed and coordinate with Leasing, Facilities, or Accounting to resolve issues.
  • Handle routine matters independently and escalate more complex questions appropriately.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication through resolution.

Account and Billing Administration

  • Record payments and maintain accurate account records.
  • Follow up on outstanding balances using established company procedures.
  • Help clients understand charges and coordinate with Accounting when additional review is needed.
  • Organize invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist Accounting with data entry, recordkeeping, and reconciliation support.

Leasing and Move Coordination

  • Support the Leasing Executive by giving property tours to prospective clients.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate lease and onboarding documentation.
  • Coordinate client onboarding, move-ins, transfers, and move-outs.
  • Track deposits, insurance certificates, required documents, and other outstanding items.
  • Coordinate lease-related tasks among the client, Leasing, Facilities, and Accounting teams.

Property, Vendor, and Office Administration

  • Collect and maintain W-9s, insurance certificates, and other required vendor documentation.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding scheduling, documentation, invoices, and account questions.
  • Maintain property records, office supplies, and routine schedules.
  • Support other day-to-day administrative needs as they arise.
  • Help improve systems and procedures as the company grows.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least two years of experience in property administration, operations, hospitality, customer service, or a similar role.
  • Strong follow-through. You keep track of open items and close the loop.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
  • Comfort handling account questions, payment tracking, and collections follow-up.
  • Experience with AppFolio, Yardi, MRI, QuickBooks, or another property-management or accounting platform.
  • Sound judgment about what you can resolve independently and what needs to be escalated.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities without losing accuracy or responsiveness.
  • A practical, service-oriented attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
  • Commercial property, accounting, facilities, or food-industry experience is helpful but not required.

The Right Person

You may be a strong fit if you:

  • Enjoy working with people and providing excellent service.
  • Love creating order in an active environment.
  • Notice small problems before they become larger ones.
  • Take ownership without waiting to be reminded.
  • Stay calm and helpful even in stressful situations.
  • Are comfortable following up with busy people to get answers and move things forward.
  • Aren’t afraid to ask questions.
  • Enjoy learning different aspects of real estate operations—from finance and leasing to client service.
  • Want to help build better systems.
  • Are excited about food businesses and enjoy learning.

Location and Schedule

This position is fully onsite at:

Amped Kitchens—L.A. North
230 W. Avenue 26
Los Angeles, CA 90031

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Reliable onsite attendance is essential to the role. Occasional overtime may be available or required and will be paid in accordance with applicable law.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $27–$30 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Full-time, nonexempt, and overtime eligible.
  • Health, dental, 401(k), paid time off, and other standard company benefits.
  • Opportunities to grow into broader client-operations or property-management responsibility based on performance and demonstrated proficiency.
