Operations Associate

Part-Time Permanent

Reporting to: Operations Team Lead

Harry Rosen, Yorkdale Shopping Centre

We are looking for an Operations Associate to join our Store team.In this role you'll be responsible for:

Customer Service

  • Accurately control and process client transactions through the POS system with efficiency
  • Collect new client contact information and update/maintain existing client information and files
  • Support all service desk activities and ensure the desk is clean, organized and well stocked
  • Provide basic client resolution services, addressing concerns and inquiries in a timely manner and when appropriate, escalating issues
  • Manage daily cash handling functions (open/close registers, prepare sales envelopes and bank deposits)
  • Identify, report and troubleshoot common errors/discrepancies

OMNI services & Order Fulfillment

  • Support with picking E-Commerce and IST orders, achieving targeted unit per hour pick rates
  • Assist with BOPIS operations activities
  • Support logistics function with on-the-floor activities (markdowns, re-ticketing, re-tagging, etc.)

Store & Merchandise Maintenance

  • Maintain the store in a neat and organized manner, ensuring all merchandise reflects standards
  • Monitor return items and re-stock, support with maintenance of overall stock levels.
  • Assist visual team with seasonal merchandise changes, displays, and setting up of special events, as required
  • Assist with season inventory preparations and counts

Flex Support & Teamwork

  • When required, support clients on the sales floor by assisting with basic inquiries
  • Support with daily tasks and ad-hoc projects
  • Adhere to all Harry Rosen philosophies, processes and standards
  • Deliver consistent and exceptional service through standards
  • Provide cross-functional team support

Successful candidates will require:

  • Aminimum of 2 yearsof retail experience preferably in a luxury environment, in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, merchandising, order fulfillment and inventory management in a retail environment
  • Experience working in a client-facing role at the service desk, providing exceptional customer service is preferred.
  • A strong service orientation - a demonstrated desire to wow our customers!
  • Demonstrated interest in technology and how to use tech innovations to support the retail Customer Service function
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to calmly and efficiently manage, acknowledge and assist a long line of customers waiting for service
  • Strong communication skills
