Locums Interventional Cardiologist – Roseburg, OregonAvailability
  • Start Date: November 2026
  • Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
  • Coverage Needed: November 2026 – January 2027
  • Schedule: 10–15 shifts per month
  • Beginning February: Coverage increases to approximately 20–30 shifts per month
  • Shift: 24-hour STEMI and Interventional Cardiology Call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
  • Orientation: Day prior to start or morning of first shift
  • Reason for Coverage: Physician vacancy
Required Licenses & Certifications
  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
  • Fellowship/Residency in Interventional Cardiology
  • Active Oregon Medical License
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • DEA Registration
Position Details
  • Specialty: Interventional Cardiology
  • Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
  • Patient Population: Adults (18+)
  • Clinic Volume: 14–16 patients per day (30-minute appointments)
  • General Cardiology Consults: Approximately 5 per day when on general call
  • Coronary Angiograms: 2–6 per day (inpatient/outpatient)
  • EMR: Meditech with PatientKeeper interface
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Provide 24-hour STEMI and interventional cardiology call coverage.
  • Perform and manage:
    • STEMI cases
    • Diagnostic coronary angiograms
    • Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
    • Right and Left Heart Catheterizations
    • IVUS, FFR, and IFR procedures
    • Echo and stress test interpretation
  • Follow and round on your own patients until sign-off.
  • Hospitalist team manages all admissions.
Support Staff
  • Collaborative team including:
    • 3 General Cardiologists
    • 2 Interventional Cardiologists
    • 1 Nurse Practitioner
  • Fully staffed clinic with one dedicated Medical Assistant per provider
  • Anesthesia support available as needed for inpatient cases
