Job description

Are you a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
As a Client Onboarding Specialist, you will support Global Banking by executing the client onboarding process for clients involved in capital markets and corporate financing transactions. This includes completing the required Know Your Customer (KYC), regulatory, and tax onboarding requirements, and working with clients and internal stakeholders to gather, review, and validate the necessary information.

Your work ensures clients are fully onboarded into our platform ahead of deal execution, and that all AML and regulatory obligations are satisfied in a timely and compliant manner.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Owning the end-to-end request intake process - monitoring the shared inbox, triaging new onboarding requests, and conducting open-source research on clients and transactions to determine onboarding requirements
Conducting initial outreach to client counsel and internal business stakeholders to gather required documentation and information
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client and transaction records in the case workflow tool to ensure full pipeline visibility and organized case tracking
Coordinating with client counsel and internal Global Banking deal teams throughout the onboarding lifecycle to obtain outstanding documentation and drive cases to completion
Keeping cases current in the workflow tool as they progress, reflecting changes to deal timelines, outreach status, and case stage to support accurate reporting and team awareness
Proactively communicating with deal teams to align on transaction scope or timeline changes, providing clear and timely onboarding progress updates
Performing screening on clients and related parties, reviewing adverse media, and escalating matters to Financial Crime Prevention when required
Preparing complete onboarding files, addressing feedback from the Quality Assurance team, and ensuring all documentation and data capture meet internal standards
Acting as a single point of contact for the deal teams to ensure the client onboarding process is completed ahead of transaction timelines
